A COVID-19 patient identified as Mr. Ajit Saikia visiting Delhi for the cancer treatment of his wife Banti Saikia died in Delhi. His dead body was lying for 5 days in the hospital morgue: Sources Informed. On Saturday Delhi Assam Association informed the news to his family. He was from Bokakhat a subdivision of the Golaghat district of Assam. His wife Banti Saikia and the local youth Mr. Kankanjyoti Bora who had accompanied the couple were also infected by COVID-19. However, both are now recovered from the COVID-19. The news brings sadness to the locality.
