VRHAM! Virtual Reality & Arts Festival 2020 will take place with all different this year because of the Covid-19 global crisis!

Virtual Reality art transcends the boundaries of all conventional forms of art, because it focuses on the viewer and surrounds him or her with their own 360-degree world. We are proud to be able to show this art in Hamburg!

Ulrich Schrauth, Artistic Director

Just one year after its first edition in June 2018, VRHAM! has established itself as an important role in the international VR art scene with its second edition in 2019. The Virtual Reality & Arts Festival in Hamburg offers a unique platform for the international and manifold VR art to engage with this new immersive art form. Hamburg is the second-largest city in Germany after Berlin.

With the Open Call published in February 2020, the VRHAM team set out in search of the world’s most outstanding and innovative artistic Virtual Reality projects focusing on finding unusual artistic positions for the VRHAM! 2020 program.
