Tragic Road Accident in Bokakhat, Assam : Three persons Dead :

Amidst the ongoing storm and heavy rain in the state, a horrific road accident occurred this evening on the national highway stretch near Methoni Tea Estate in Bokakhat Co District of Assam. According to reports, three youths riding a motorcycle bearing registration number AS 05 D 3379 collided head-on with a truck registration number AS 01 RC 2219 on the highway at Methoni Tea Estate near Bokakhat Assam.
The motorcycle, coming from Kohora towards Bokakhat, crashed into the truck approaching from the opposite direction. As a result, the three riders were thrown off, and the motorcycle was crushed under the truck. One youth died instantly at the scene, while the other two were rushed in critical condition to Bokakhat Civil Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
The deceased have been identified as Diganta Das, Lakhon Das, and Luku Das, all residents of Adarsha village in Panbari, Bokakhat. This tragic incident, occurring amid scattered storm-related events such as uprooted trees in various places, has plunged Bokakhat into deep mourning.
